Resumen.

Ante los múltiples cambios de la sociedad, el docente se encuentra ante la necesidad de buscar nuevas formas y métodos de enseñar y aprender.

El objetivo principal de este trabajo era favorecer el aprendizaje en alumnos de Bachillerato, haciéndoles protagonistas del mismo y empleando para ello una herramienta que conecta con su estilo de vida: el Smartphone. La actividad propuesta se basa en la metodología mobile learning que consiste en el uso y aprovechamiento de los dispositivos móviles en el aula.

El uso del Smartphone mejoró notablemente el aprendizaje de los alumnos, aumentando su motivación e interés por la asignatura.

Didactic proposal of introduction to the field of the chemistry for pupils of Baccalaureate: the Audio Periodic Table

Abstract.

In front of current society changes, teachers have to develop new ways for teaching and learning. The aim of this work was to improve the Baccalaureate students’ learning by using Smartphones as a new educational tool. The methodology used was Mobile Learning which consists in the use of mobile devices in class. The analysis of this experience showed that Smartphones improve the students’ learning process. Our results support those reported by recent studies showing that mobile devices benefit teachers and students. Smartphones significantly improved the students’ learning, increasing their motivation and interest in the subject and promoting collaboration among classmates.
